May is fast approaching and we all know that on this month, we really celebrate Mother's Day. It's already part of our traditions as a Filipino.And with all honesty, I'm already a mother at 20 which is not a typical age for a new mother.Sounds so young, right? :) Well, I'm writing this article to salute all the mothers out there.
Firstly, I never knew what a mother really is until I became one.I used to argue with my mother before.I seldom obey her and I always go on my own way . I was really not a good daughter but that was all BEFORE. Everything was changed when I gave birth to my "little princess". I couldn't measure the happiness I felt when i first saw my baby. Everything was really nice and wonderful.And on that day, I realized how happy my mom was when she gave birth to me which I should be thankful for. She took care of me for 9 months in her tummy full of pride and love up till now..I really regretted the times I disobeyed,fought back and argued with her. And now that I am a mother. I know she can see that I'm trying my best to show her how much I value and love her.And to my Mom,You know that I love you so much, I may not say it personally but I hope in my little gestures you can feel the everlasting love.I do apologized for everything I've done wrong.And I'm sorry that I was not able to meet all your expectations.But, you have nothing to worry I will continue to reach my dreams with God's guidance and yours.
And to all the people who will be reading this. I just hope you can see the importance and the sacrifices of all your mothers.Do you know how many times your mother cried because of you? You can never tell.Just imagine how many times you've hurt when you were still young up to your age right now. Your mother felt all your pain twice as yours. Will you still wait to become a parent before you let your parents feel they are valued and loved. I'm telling you this because I want you to let them feel your love as early as now. And on this May 12,2013. Let all the mothers on earth feel they are loved on this special day. They are not getting any younger, guys!It's up to you how you will make this day a very special one.Please be reminded that everyday should always be a special day for our parents. Let's not wait for Mother's day and Father's day to come to let them feel special.
